I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the Miller family a few times now. They are always a dream to shoot, but this time we had a goal of creating a lifestyle gallery for their home in mind and the result was that it moved itself to the top of my list as one of my favorite sessions ever. I got to do what I love beyond trying to get a bunch of kiddos to look into my camera at the same time and show off their outfits- the reason I love shooting weddings and the first moments of a newborns life- I get to tell a story with photos.
I told Sally I wanted to capture “the essence” of their family during this session, so below you will find a story about a beautiful mama joyfully raising three confident girls, and a dad who’s tough exterior melts into a silly sense of humor at the sound of his daughter’s giggles. The light-hearted fun, ease, and kindness of their family effortlessly lept into my lens. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them.
