There are two reasons I love photography:
1. I like to create a work of art out of life. I like the way you can compose a photo in such a way that it evokes emotion, conveys a message about you, and looks like a masterpiece.
2. Photos tell a story, and I think we all have a story to tell. I want to document my days with sincerity, so my girls will one day see how much I loved their spirits, and not just their outfits.
Like most things I love, I can’t hold it in and not share it. I am transitioning my work as a photographer into a style that feels more true to why i fell in love with photography in the first place. Along with shooting weddings, which captured my heart for storytelling years ago, I am moving to two new lines of work for families, and I’m going to tell you all about it on July 1st!
In the meantime, a most heartfelt thanks to all the families that have trusted me with their pictures over the past 5 years. I hope you’ll be as excited as I am about the new way I want to capture those you love!
