I am used to photographing giddy brides on their wedding day. Eager grooms seemingly pleased the planning is over and he can finally call his love a wife. On Sunday I had the privilege of photographing a vow renewal, and the exchange of tedious to-do’s for the simplicity of vows made in front of loved ones and God created the atmosphere for marriage that only time can chisel. A sense of permanence, comfortability, and resolution. The Hanlon’s 40th anniversary fell on a Sunday, so after church they, along with their children, said their vows once more. It was a beautifully simple, sweet picture of continued commitment . Here are a few images from our time together!
